New Thought Center of Hawaii
A Multi-Faith Spiritual Community
Mission
To provide a sanctuary of aloha for the nourishment, development, and evolution of each individualʻs unique spiritual path.
Vision
A connected, compassionate community in West Hawaiʻi where diverse spiritual traditions gather to thrive, learn, and expand in consciousness.
Our Core Values
Aloha & Inclusivity
Welcoming all backgrounds, spiritual paths, and walks of life.
Spiritual Growth
Nurturing individual evolution through teaching, mindfulness, and active practice.
Community Service
Serving as a gathering hub and sanctuary for the Big Island community.
This group evolved from the Kona Community Church of Religious Science, founded in 1971. We have held Sunday services continuously from that time, previously in Keauhou, and since 1999 in Kealakekua. Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, we developed the technical skills to hold our services online when necessary. Now we offer the choice to attend in person or watch the live stream via YouTube.
A Short History
We are affiliated with the International New Thought Alliance, an umbrella organization that brings together groups and individuals who share certain common beliefs and attitudes, among them the idea that “a new thought embodied in consciousness produces a new condition.” (Judge Thomas Troward) INTA also includes many Unity and Religious Science churches and Centers for Spiritual Living.
