Anna invites breathwork, intoning, prayer, song, story, and laughter into her circles. The enthusiasm and love of this practice is palpable as she orchestrates a gentle flow of individual check-in time, group drumming and rattling, shamanism lesson and journey experience. Within this safe space, Anna gently delves into the expansive soul nature and the innateness of being human. As we expand understanding of ourselves, this naturally leads to growth in personal relationships, which inevitably expands to increased global awareness, says author Michael Meade in his book, "Awakening the Soul."
During years of study and practice under esteemed shamanic teachers, like Dr. Hank Wesselman, Hale Kealohalani Makua and Sandra Ingerman, Anna was drawn to share the gift of shamanism in her community. With a joyful spirit, she accommodates new or seasoned journeyers. Each participant is invited to find their own portal into the spiritual realm, safely. This occurs when a steady, consistent drumbeat, is played; striking 4-7 times per second, for about 20 minutes. Dr. Wesselman reports, "70-80% of humans have the capacity to get there, using this method, even if they, at first, do not even believe they can." Upon entering this individual ethereal place, imagination turns into other-worldly enchantment with talkative animals and fantastic teachers of many sorts who usher us to places where answers, suggestions, stories and guidance are offered; thus, enhancing our lives.
