Lia Segerblom

As a teenager, Lia's mother introduced her to many spiritual paths including The Inner Peace Movement, Concept Therapy, and Science of Mind. She attended several Churches of Religious Science over the years as a student, as she lived in so many different places.

Art has also been an integral part of Lia's life path. She has worked as a professional portrait painter and as a photographer. She earned a degree in photography from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara. She opened her own studio in Orange County, which she ran successfully for 33 years.

Lia was widowed in 2022, took a year to regroup, then bought a one-way ticket to Hawaiʻi Island. She has always lived from a spiritual perspective, and moving to Hawaiʻi had been a dream and goal for 38 years. Now, having lived in South Kona for 3 years, she feels she is living the life of her dreams.

A member of New Thought Center since 2023, Lia is currently serving as vice president of the board of trustees.

Pasha MacGregor

Born Priscilla Davidson, Pasha MacGregor first moved to Kona, Hawaii in 1972 with her husband Rob MacGregor, aka Condor, their daughter Laura, and their 2nd child in utero. (Kalani made her debut a few months later.) Pasha has worked as a mom, a Girl Scout leader and a public school teacher.  As a teacher she introduced thousands of youngsters to the joys and challenges of learning foreign languages, primarily French and Russian. Wanting to expand their horizons, she organized educational tours for the students, taking groups of middle school kids to Russia, France, French Polynesia and China.

In 1977 Pasha joined the church that gradually evolved into New Thought Center of Hawaii. (It was 6 years old at the time.) She was the main Sunday school teacher for over a decade, and in 1997 she was elected to the Board of Trustees.  She has served on the Board since that time with the exception of two one year “sabbaticals”.  In the past she has held the offices of president and treasurer, and she currently serves as secretary.
