Weaving a Lei of Love
Sonic Tonic is back. On the first Sunday of every month, starting August 4, there will be a combined sound healing with the healing bowls and acoustic instruments. Anyone who is called forth with an instrument or singing, will bring together meditative tones for gentle healing. If you wish to participate, come before 9:00 AM as the session will start at 9:00.

Join us to experience the healing tones of the bowls as they resonate throughout your body balancing your Chakras.
Written prayer requests for healing are available just prior to the meditation using the New Thought Center of Hawai'i's God Can.

Please arrive early as the doors get locked promptly at 9 AM. Donations and Love Offerings are greatly appreciated and remember, the more we give the more we receive so please give generously.

Glow with the Gentle Flow!              This class is now a fund raiser for Marya Mann's Recovery.  Led by Lorraine Kohn and Ambika Rose.

Yoga Flow classes in the evolutionary style are meditations in motion. Steady, rhythmic practices help us cultivate the full spectrum of insights available in the core of the body and in each facet of Yoga.
The Tree of Yoga has eight limbs that range from the foundations of ethics and daily practices to the joys of movement, meditation, and creativity in the state of Soul to Oversoul alignment.
Please join us in the steady flow of integration, healing and inspiration! Bring mats and closed water bottles. All levels welcome. We may use props, keeping the postures a little more tailored to the individual. Bring yours if you have them. Some equipment available. Big smiles always welcome!

HOVE lots for sale!
Catamaran Lane between Palm and Ocean View Parkways

TMKs: 9-2-63-55 and 9-2-63-56, lots 19 and 21

NTCH is selling two one acre lots in Hawaiian Ocean View Estates (HOVE).

The Board of Trustees agreed to lower the price from $11,500 to $8,995 per lot with a discount of $1,000 if the same person buys both. (They are side by side.)

We will publicize the lots’ availability to members and friends prior to listing on MLS at the end of June. If we find the new owner in this way, Lorraine Kohn will represent both parties and keep closing costs low.

 Special qualities

1. Lovely climate, 3500 foot elevation.

2. Wooded lots, never graded. Healthy ohia trees. New owner can choose house site, and how much vegetation to keep in its natural state.

3. Quiet neighborhood. A member of New Thought Center lives nearby, and can share insights from her experience building on similar property.

4. Electricity paid in full for both lots, through SSPP program. Huge savings!

5. Less than 4 miles from the center of Ocean View, a 7 minute drive.

6. Telephone lines on the street if you want a landline.

What is A Course In Miracles?

The best answer to that question is this quote from Craig Villarrubia
"I was about two thirds into A Course in Miracles when I was suddenly showered in what can be best described as Love. There was a shift in identification from me as Craig into a sea of wholeness and a recognition that I AM Love. Up until this experience, the concept of wholeness was just philosophy. That said, the experience added nothing “new” but rather exposed what had previously been obscured. It was as if the veil, that separated my awareness from the truth, had now been lifted. I felt a deep love and connection with everything. I no longer felt separate or identified with the body, definition-less awareness was all that I knew.
With a commitment to deepen that experience and completely undo the limited self-concept, my ministry is Love. Desiring only what is true, my devotion is to exposing and experiencing anything that obscures the recognition and reality of my true identity. "
-Craig Villarrubia

Loving Kindness for All
Date: February 1, 2020
Where: New Thought Center of Hawaii at Pualani Terrace in Kealakekua
When: 10 AM - 12:30 PM

It’s so easy to get lost in negative thoughts and self-doubt. Underneath those feelings of lack and insecurity often lies a deeper truth: We do not feel worthy of love. We may not even feel that we are worthy of our own love, which is tragic.
Meditating on self-love allows me to reconnect with my heart—to remember that I am worthy of love, especially my own. And from that place I can Love others more deeply.
Join us for a meditation workshop that includes practices that you can take into your daily life to love yourself and others more. Sit in the practices that help us discover who we are.
Mastering the day-to-day range of human emotion can be so challenging. I have found that moments when I slip into “not-enoughness” are when I need most to focus on loving myself, remembering our eternal connectedness and leaning into the divine love that is always present.
Being in touch with your inner peace is not the same as being happy. When difficult or painful things happen, such as the loss of a loved one, you will not feel happy, that's for sure. But it doesn't mean you have to lose your peace. Beneath the tears and grief, there can remain a steadiness—an inner stillness—independent of the circumstances.
What’s in your daily practice? Join us for a circle of love.

Energetic exchange $33.00 for 2.5 hour workshop.

Warrior Breath Workshop

Sunday, February 2, 2020
1:30 to 4:30 pm
Presented by Michael Hemmat
Honua Room at New Thought Center Hawai'i
$40 suggested donation

We will be using a breathing technique that comes from traditional Hawaiian shamanism. This powerful practice offers deep emotional healing, connection to ancestors, spirits of the 'aina, and most importantly, Self. We will introduce the breathwork practice and concepts, then proceed with the breathwork session which may be intense. Participants will be guided through deep, fast paced breathing for the purpose of hyper oxygenating the blood and conditioning the nervous system. After 90 minutes of breathwork we’ll complete the event with sharing and integration support.
Please note - This exercise may not be appropriate for everyone. If you have high blood pressure, cardiac conditions, vertigo or impaired respiratory function please consult a physician before participating. All participants will be required to sign a waiver of liability.
